Photos from the Open School East graduation last summer. Here’s what inspires me most about this generation of young people:
1) they are largely uncompromising in their wide, empathetic understanding of personal identity
2) they speak truth to power, grew up doing so and don’t see much reason not to
3) they believe in a community where we all get to be creative and unique
4) they look into the eyes of the bleakness and decide to carve out a bright future anyway not just for themselves but for each other
