The room lit up when Kyikyi gave her speech at the Livelihood NW 2024 Small Business Celebration, and grand opening for the Oregon Women’s Business Center in Portland.
You could feel her message, of pioneering a new path, and bringing your heritage with you, connecting with so many of the hearts that were present that night.
Over the next few years you’re going to hear from a lot of over-important, emotionally inept, and petulant men that representation doesn’t matter, when (of course) it very much does.
